In these extreme temperatures, fescue protects itself by going dormant; when this happens, the color of your grass might slightly diminish. To enhance the color of your turf, a granular application of iron (ironite) can be applied in the months of July and August. This product can be purchased at your local do-it-yourself stores (as with any other product, please follow manufacturer’s application directions).
The application will revive the lush green color of your grass so you can enjoy it all summer long!
